Audit the recovery. Calculate the time required to rebuild a RAID array after a disk failure based on drive capacity and I/O throughput.
A 34.7 hour rebuild window is a high-risk period. In RAID 5, if a second drive fails during this window, the entire array is lost. With 10 TB drives, the probability of an Unrecoverable Read Error (URE) during rebuild is a critical design consideration.
