Audit the gas. Calculate the deviation factor (Z) to correct ideal gas behavior for real reservoir gases under high pressure.
At 3000 psi, the gas is no longer ideal. A Z-factor of 1.279 means the actual volume is 127.9% of what the Ideal Gas Law (PV=nRT) predicts. This is critical for accurate material balance and reserves estimation.
