Estimate the Glomerular Filtration Rate (eGFR) using the MDRD equation. This metric is the primary indicator of kidney health and stage of chronic kidney disease (CKD).
A normal GFR is typically 90 or higher. Results below 60 for 3 months or more may indicate chronic kidney disease. This tool uses the MDRD formula, which is standard for clinical screening.
